Melanie Mae Photography

Melanie Mae Photography specializes in headshots, newborn photography, maternity, engagement photos and pet photography. Wanting to study jewelry design, I took classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. But I fell in love with photography instead. I traveled to Florence and began practicing photography there. In Italy I discovered the power that well-designed websites have, and so I fine-tuned my skills in both. With a background in fashion design, jewelry design, iphonography (yes, iphonography is actually a thing), digital design, analog photography, and a Bachelors in Fine Arts and Psychology (as well as a nearly-completed Masters in Social Work) it's now 10 years after beginning my photography studies at FIT and I'm privileged to be pursuing my passions in both photography and website design
